Actually drove from Newton to Westboro tonight from 5 to 7 PM in the middle of the watch (the warning did not extend that far east AFAICT but the watch did). Didn't really hit any bad weather then. After the meeting was over we made it to the restaurant. But while we were at Not Your Average Joes in Westboro the skies opened up. There were some lightning hits within about 1000 feet that set off car alarms in the restaurant parking lot. Other than getting soaked getting back out to the car, no ill affects. It was like a boat with a wake behind us driving home. The worst seemed to be over by the time I got back to Newton.
